Terrepower EPS programme reaches 60 million vehicles in operation

Terrepower has added 60 EPS applications to its North American programme, covering 60 million vehicles with a further 76 SKUs due in July

Terrepower has expanded its North American electric power steering (EPS) aftermarket programme with 60 new applications covering model years 2013 to 2025, bringing total coverage to more than 257 SKUs for an estimated 60 million vehicles in operation. A further 76 SKUs covering 21 million vehicles are scheduled for launch in July 2026.

The company, formerly known as BBB Industries, says more than 50% of vehicles on the road today are EPS-equipped, with EPS systems expected to account for roughly 25% of all steering repairs by 2028. Terrepower says the expansion is designed to address a persistent tendency among technicians to source OE or salvaged parts due to perceived gaps in aftermarket availability.

“This innovation is a game-changer for repair environments,” said Tim Connolly, Senior Director of Product Management at Terrepower. “We’re removing a major barrier to EPS service, while providing a high quality, sustainable alternative to OE replacement at a more affordable cost.”

Andrew Wilson, Product Manager for EPS at Terrepower, added: “More than 50% of vehicles today are EPS equipped, and by 2028, roughly 25% of steering repairs are expected to involve EPS systems. Terrepower is ensuring the aftermarket is ready.”
