Stellantis simplifies connected services into two packs

Stellantis is restructuring connected services into Connect ONE, included for 10 years, and Connect PLUS, available by subscription

Stellantis is restructuring its connected services into a simplified two-pack offer: Connect ONE, included in the vehicle purchase price for 10 years, and Connect PLUS, sold by subscription after a trial period. Both tiers carry expanded service lists at unchanged pricing.

Connect ONE now includes e-Remote Control, letting electric and plug-in hybrid drivers manage charging and preconditioning from their smartphone. The feature is positioned as a way to preserve battery range at the start of each journey by warming or cooling the cabin while still plugged in.

Peugeot and Opel are adding e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge to their Connect ONE pack. The service plans EV trips around range, charging station availability, traffic, distance and driving behaviour, and runs either through built-in navigation or via smartphone mirroring. Updated graphics include a wider route display and real-time traffic visualisation.

Connect PLUS adds two new services at no extra cost. Amazon Alexa voice services let drivers control smart home devices from the vehicle, and Stolen Vehicle Tracking Assistance allows law enforcement to locate stolen vehicles using a tracking mode. Stellantis pitched the latter as a response to rising vehicle theft concerns.

Individual Stellantis brands retain control over content, duration and pricing within the framework, letting them weight Connect ONE versus Connect PLUS differently. Peugeot and Opel’s integration of e-ROUTES into the entry pack is the first example.
