Renault Trucks has confirmed it will remain a partner and investor in Flexis following the ownership restructure announced by the Volvo Group on 23 February, and will distribute Flexis-developed electric light commercial vehicles from 2027. The arrangement mirrors the existing distribution model between Renault Group and Renault Trucks for light commercial vehicles.
The Flexis vehicles are based on a shared skateboard platform and a software-defined vehicle architecture. Renault Trucks has set a target of doubling its light commercial vehicle sales by 2030.
