Pony.ai has reported record paid robotaxi orders in Shenzhen over the 2026 Chinese New Year holiday, with service running across four cities.
Pony.ai has reported record paid order volumes in Shenzhen during the 2026 Chinese New Year holiday, with continuous robotaxi operations maintained across Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai throughout the nine-day period. Vehicles in Shenzhen averaged 26 paid orders per day during the holiday.
Year-to-date cumulative paid orders in Shenzhen as of 16 February had already exceeded the total for the full year of 2025, driven by fleet expansion and higher vehicle utilisation. The company attributed the growth to increased deployment and rising user demand.
Pony.ai says it will continue to expand fleet size and operational coverage across its Chinese robotaxi network.
