The operator will deploy the zero-emission Urbino 15 LE e-buses across Stockholm, Skåne and Göteborg from mid-2027
Polish bus manufacturer Solaris has signed contracts to supply 103 Urbino 15 LE electric buses to Scandinavian public transport operator Nobina, covered by three separate deals. The zero-emission low-entry e-buses are scheduled for delivery in mid-2027 and will operate across the Stockholm, Skåne and Göteborg regions of Sweden.
Of the 103 vehicles, 50 will run in the Stockholm region, 49 in Skåne and four around Göteborg. Each bus will be fitted with Solaris High Energy batteries, providing range for routes extending beyond urban areas.

In a statement, Sverre Skaar, Chief Executive of Solaris Sverige AB, said: “The contract for 103 electric buses ordered by Nobina marks another important milestone in the development of sustainable bus transport in Sweden. Choosing the Urbino 15 LE electric means choosing zero emissions, but above all, comfort. We are very proud that Nobina has once again placed its trust in us, and we look forward to further developing our existing partnership.”
Solaris has supplied Nobina since 2010, with the Scandinavian operator steadily expanding its zero-emission fleet. The manufacturer has delivered 201 e-buses to Nobina since 2024 and is scheduled to ship more than 320 e-buses to the operator across 2026 and 2027. The latest orders add to Nobina’s ongoing fleet rollout across urban and suburban routes in Sweden.
