Mercedes-Benz Trucks marks 130 years of manufacturing alongside Štempihar Transport, a Slovenian haulier that has relied solely on the brand for 37 years
Mercedes-Benz Trucks is marking 130 years of truck manufacturing with a spotlight on one of its longer-standing customers: Slovenian logistics firm Štempihar Transport, which has operated exclusively Mercedes-Benz vehicles since its founding 37 years ago. The family-owned company, based in Šenčur, has expanded its fleet with additional Actros L ProCabin models, bringing its total to 42 Mercedes-Benz trucks.
Founded by Slavko Štempihar, the company has standardised entirely on Mercedes-Benz vehicles since its first truck purchase. His son Luka is now involved in the business, continuing the fleet policy while incorporating modern logistics operations. The firm focuses primarily on international long-haul transport.

The Actros L ProCabin, the latest generation of the Actros line, features revised aerodynamics, advanced driver-assistance systems and an enlarged cab designed to reduce driver fatigue on long-distance routes.
In a statement, Slavko Štempihar said: “From the very beginning, I trusted Mercedes-Benz, and that trust has proven itself over 37 years. The reliability of these trucks has allowed me to build the company with confidence and focus on what matters most: our customers and sustainable growth.”
