Maruti Suzuki has commenced exports of its Victoris SUV, with over 450 vehicles shipped from the Mundra and Pipavav ports for global markets including Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, with plans to reach more than 100 countries and regions. The model, which holds five-star safety ratings from both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP, will be sold internationally under the Across name and was showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025.

Maruti Suzuki said it was India’s largest passenger vehicle exporter for a fifth consecutive year in 2025, shipping more than 390,000 vehicles. The automaker’s exports grew 4.67 times between 2020 and 2025, compared with 1.43 times for the rest of the Indian industry, it said.
In a statement, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and Chief Executive at Maruti Suzuki India, said: “Maruti Suzuki’s export journey is guided by the vision of Make in India, Make for the World. The year also marked our re-entry into Europe with the start of exports of our first battery-electric vehicle, e Vitara. The addition of Victoris will further support our export ambitions, and we are hopeful it will be well received in international markets.”
