Tim Guin and Natalie Draisin join Kodiak AI’s advisory council as the firm pushes toward scaled driverless trucking operations
US autonomous trucking developer Kodiak AI has appointed Tim Guin and Natalie Draisin to its Industry Advisory Council, drawing on commercial trucking and transport safety expertise to inform the company’s scaled deployment plans. The pair join as Kodiak focuses on launching long-haul driverless trucking operations.
Guin is a former Chief Commercial Officer at US trucking firm Hirschbach Motor Lines, with prior senior roles at USA Truck, Swift Transportation and US Xpress Enterprises. Kodiak said his background offers insight into how autonomous technology can integrate into freight networks.
Draisin is Director of the North American Office at the FIA Foundation, working on safety, sustainability and equitable mobility. Her prior roles span the National Transportation Safety Board, the World Health Organization and Accenture.
In a statement, Don Burnette, Founder and Chief Executive of Kodiak AI, said: “As we continue advancing toward scaled deployment, the perspectives of experienced leaders across the trucking, logistics, safety and technology ecosystems are invaluable. Tim and Natalie bring complementary expertise in safety, policy, and commercial transportation that can help shape how we build and deploy our technology.”
Kodiak also confirmed the retirement of Anne Ferro, former Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, from the Council. The advisory council was established in 2024 and meets quarterly.
