Knorr-Bremse is advancing its aftermarket ecosystem platform for commercial vehicles, targeting workshops, fleets and dealers
Knorr-Bremse is advancing its aftermarket ecosystem platform for commercial vehicles, targeting workshops, fleet operators and dealers with data-driven services and digital tools. The platform comprises four interconnected components and has been expanded through a joint venture with Dutch aftermarket partner WAGH B.V. (WESP-Group) and the acquisition of service booking portal Travis.
The TruckServices Ecosystem includes Cojali for multi-brand workshop diagnostics and telematics; PleaseFix, a cloud-based booking and capacity management system for commercial vehicle workshops; WESP CV for data-based workshop benchmarking; and Travis, a digital platform for booking road services including parking, cleaning, charging and repairs.
In a statement, Bernd Spies, Member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG with responsibility for the Commercial Vehicle Systems division, said: “The commercial vehicle aftermarket is facing major challenges—from a shortage of skilled workers and rising operating costs to new requirements for sustainability and efficiency. With our aftermarket ecosystem, we are creating a platform that addresses precisely these issues.”
The company said the ecosystem represents a step in its shift from component supplier to digital solution provider in the commercial vehicle aftermarket.
