Kia teases second-gen Seltos ahead of New York reveal

Kia has released teaser images of the all-new 2027 Seltos ahead of its full reveal at the New York International Auto Show on 1 April 2026. The second-generation compact SUV will be the latest Kia model to carry the company’s Opposites United design philosophy, which draws on the tension between natural and human-made forms.

The teaser imagery suggests a squared-off, upright silhouette with sharp angles and flush door handles. Pronounced LED daytime running lights accent a broad bonnet, and the overall stance draws visual links to the second-generation Telluride. Kia says the proportions are intended to convey strength while retaining versatility suited to the compact SUV segment.

Full specifications, powertrain details and pricing will be disclosed at the Kia press conference at 9:25 am Eastern time on 1 April. A livestream will be available at kia.com and across Kia America’s social channels.
