The InnovizSmart LiDAR offers detection range of up to 450 metres and is designed for traffic management, security and robotics uses
Innoviz Technologies has announced general availability of InnovizSmart, its off-the-shelf LiDAR solution designed for smart infrastructure applications including perimeter security, traffic management and robotics. The company said the automotive-grade sensor is ramping to full industrialisation with short lead times and no customisation required for deployment.
InnovizSmart features detection range of up to 450 metres, power-over-Ethernet connectivity for installation on existing poles or traffic light infrastructure, and resilience to dust, debris and extreme temperatures. The system captures spatial data without identifying personal characteristics.
Innoviz said InnovizSmarter, powered by Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano, is expected to be available in Q2 2026.
In a statement, Omer Keilaf, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Innoviz, said: “Customers can now procure a durable, reliable automotive-grade LiDAR with short lead times and no customisation required. InnovizSmart is designed for 24/7 performance in harsh outdoor conditions and integrates seamlessly into existing infrastructure—delivering proven, reliable LiDAR performance for a wide range of smart applications.”
