Horse Powertrain has launched kAIros, an AI initiative targeting a 50% reduction in time-to-market across engineering and production
Horse Powertrain has launched kAIros, a company-wide AI initiative led by its Horse Technologies division, targeting a 50% reduction in time-to-market, a 40% cut in low-value process work and a 25% improvement in design cycle efficiency. The initiative is supported by Nvidia, Google Cloud and Deloitte, and centres on an AI Factory designed to support engineering, simulation and industrial operations across the business.
The AI Factory integrates Nvidia RTX Pro servers with RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, Google Cloud infrastructure and Nvidia AI software including CUDA-X, Omniverse and Cosmos. Google Gemini Enterprise supports AI agent deployment across the company. The system is intended to run advanced simulations and digital twins, with training data generation built in to improve models over time.

KAIros also covers physical AI applications, connecting real-world production environments with virtual systems to support autonomous decision-making, automated video-based quality inspection and intelligent robotics. A dedicated Centre of Excellence will lead internal AI capability development, drawing on a multifunctional team from across the business.
In a statement, Patrice Haettel, Chief Operating Officer of Horse Powertrain and Chief Executive of Horse Technologies, said: “With kAIros, we are taking a decisive step into a new era where AI can redefine speed, cost, efficiency and sustainability. Our goal is to turn data into knowledge, simulations into real value, and innovation into competitive advantage.”
