Automotive World’s monthly global LV sales forecast provides a snapshot of past and future sales volumes broken down by region. By Jonathan Storey
Demand in the Top-20 light vehicle (LV) markets began 2026 on a downbeat note with a 3.0% fall in January. Excluding China, which typically accounts for around 30% of global demand, the January result was 2.6% ahead of the year-ago figure with increases in 12 markets and decreases in seven.
