Cinemo integrates video platform in Renault Filante

Cinemo has integrated its CARS Online Video technology into Renault Korea’s new Filante SUV, providing access to video-on-demand streaming and unified content search within the vehicle’s Android Automotive OS infotainment system. The digital media firm said the project was delivered in under five months using a proven architecture developed through previous collaboration with the automaker.

The system enables multi-screen in-car video playback with the ability to add new streaming services and content partners over time. Cinemo’s cloud services support the integrated solution.

“Our collaboration on Filante shows how our turnkey and customisable solution CARS Online Video can reduce time-to-market while raising the bar on in-car video across Renault car models,” Director of Portfolio Management Abe Silhan said.

The Filante is Renault Korea’s latest software-defined cockpit implementation, featuring connected media and content discovery capabilities.
