Bosch and Qualcomm Technologies are expanding their partnership from cockpit computing into ADAS, with East Asian design wins targeting 2028

Bosch and Qualcomm Technologies have expanded their automotive partnership to include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), extending a collaboration that has to date focused on cockpit computing. The companies said new ADAS production programmes have secured design wins with automakers in East Asia, with first vehicles expected on the road in 2028.
The expansion centres on Bosch’s ADAS integration platform, built on Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Ride platform, supporting configurations from entry-level functions such as lane keeping and speed regulation through to higher levels of automated driving. A combined cockpit and ADAS variant uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Ride Flex system-on-chip to consolidate both functions onto a single safety-certifiable unit, reducing system complexity and supporting a migration path toward centralised vehicle computing architectures.
The announcement accompanies a milestone in the companies’ existing cockpit collaboration: Bosch has delivered more than 10 million vehicle computers based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms since first deliveries began in 2021, spanning entry-level to premium vehicles across North America, Asia and Europe.

In a statement, Christoph Hartung, Chief Technology Officer for Systems, Software, and Services at Bosch Mobility, said: “By combining leading-edge compute technology with our system integration expertise, hardware, software, and safety, we enable automakers to meet the rising demand for personalised, safe, and comfortable driving experiences.”
