Arrive publishes 2026 Urban Mobility Compass report

Arrive has released its 2026 Urban Mobility Compass, examining trends in parking, public transport, payments and AI

Arrive has published its 2026 Urban Mobility Compass, a report examining key trends across parking, public transport, digital in-car experiences, payments and artificial intelligence that the company believes will define the evolution of urban mobility services globally. The report compiles insights from Arrive’s leadership team, including Chief Executive Cameron Clayton, alongside heads of the company’s business units covering parking, automotive and data, transport, payments, data and AI, and security and cyber resilience.

Among the trends identified, the report highlights the expanding use of AI across the mobility sector as a means to reduce friction in services. It also points to a growing emphasis on creating more cohesive in-car experiences for both private vehicle owners and fleet operators.

In parking, Arrive notes the ongoing integration of management systems aimed at simplifying navigation for cities. The report also addresses increasing digitisation in public transport ticketing and data gathering, which the company says is enabling easier multi-modal journeys and improved understanding of transport patterns.

The compass additionally examines the emergence of an open market model for mobile parking payment applications. This shift sees cities moving away from tender-based procurement towards systems offering greater consumer choice.
