Andersen EV and Octopus Energy are offering six months of free charging for customers who purchase an Andersen charger from March
Andersen EV and Octopus Energy are offering six months of free EV charging for customers who purchase an Andersen charge point from 1 March 2026. Octopus Energy says the offer represents around 4,370 miles of free driving and £234 in electricity cost savings.
The promotion is delivered through Intelligent Octopus Go, a smart EV tariff designed to optimise charging during off-peak periods using low-cost, renewable-led electricity. The offer covers Andersen EV’s full portfolio of charging devices, including the A3, A2 and Andersen Quartz.
The promotion coincides with the introduction of the ’26 registration plate for new cars in the UK and follows the government’s announcement that it will expand EV charger installation grants to cover almost half the typical cost. Andersen EV says the combined offer provides a compelling package for drivers considering switching to electric.
In a statement, David Martell, Chief Executive of Andersen EV, said: “The March plate change remains one of the most significant moments in the UK motoring calendar and this offer will help encourage more motorists to make the switch to electric for their next car.”
Richard Sephton, Head of EV Partnerships at Octopus Energy, added: “By offering this as a bundled solution, EV drivers will unlock hundreds of pounds in annual savings that smart tariffs provide, delivering a premium charging experience that pays for itself.”
