AB Dynamics has opened a technical facility near Munich, adding training and repair capability for OEMs and suppliers in southern Germany
AB Dynamics has opened a technical facility in Bavaria, near Munich, expanding the testing equipment specialist’s service and support capabilities for automotive customers across southern Germany. The site complements the firm’s existing German headquarters in Giessen and includes a dedicated training centre and specialist repair and maintenance department serving local OEMs and suppliers.
The facility is designed to reduce equipment downtime and improve test efficiency as vehicle development cycles shorten. Customers can receive instruction on the maintenance of AB Dynamics’ full product portfolio at the on-site training centre, while the repair and maintenance department provides localised servicing capability.

Built to current energy-efficiency standards, the facility features rooftop solar panels and supports AB Dynamics’ target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. The site has capacity for future expansion.
“As vehicle development cycles continue to shorten, emphasis is on test teams to maximise uptime and operate with greater efficiency,” said Holger Hildsberg, Managing Director of AB Dynamics Germany. “The new Bavaria facility is designed to support that reality, helping customers reduce disruption, maintain momentum in their test programmes, and enable us to respond more quickly when issues arise.”
