Honda Motor Europe – UK has appointed Michael Doyle, returning from Southern Africa, as Head of Automobile, succeeding Rebecca Adamson

Honda Motor Europe – UK has appointed Michael Doyle as Head of Automobile, returning him to the UK from Honda Motor Southern Africa, where he served as Vice President with operational responsibility across Automobile, Motorcycle and Power Products. Doyle succeeds Rebecca Adamson, who has led the UK Automobile business since 2020.
Adamson moves fully into the position of General Manager of Customer Engagement at Honda Motor Europe. Doyle joins with more than 30 years’ experience at Honda, having held senior roles spanning field operations, customer engagement, network development and international postings.
The company says Doyle’s appointment supports Honda UK’s continued progress on electrification and long-term growth strategy. It cites a competitive and fast-evolving market as the backdrop to the change.
“It’s a privilege to return to the UK business and take on this role at a time of significant transformation for the automotive industry,” Michael Doyle, Head of Automobile at Honda Motor Europe – UK, said. “Honda UK has a clear vision for its future, and I’m excited to build on the strong foundations already in place as we continue to evolve our product offering and strengthen our relationships with customers and our retail network.”
