Leapmotor’s first-quarter deliveries reached over 110,000 units globally, with overseas exports hitting a record 40,000 units
Leapmotor has opened orders for its B05 hatchback in initial European markets from €26,900 (~US$31,650), debuting the automaker’s first sporty electric model in Europe at Auto China 2026 in Beijing. The Chinese automaker also revealed a domestic-market-only B05 Ultra variant and reported first-quarter deliveries of more than 110,000 units worldwide.

The European B05 will follow Leapmotor’s step-by-step regional strategy, focused on volume trims and price-competitive launches. Orders in Europe opened on 23 April 2026, with the model adding to an existing Leapmotor portfolio that already includes battery-electric and extended-range vehicles.
The China-specific B05 Ultra is the top-trim variant of the B05 line, with exclusive aerodynamic kits, 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in the five-second range, and a dual-chipset setup combining Qualcomm Snapdragon 8650 and 8295 processors. The variant also adds urban navigation-assisted driving and is aimed at younger buyers.

Global deliveries exceeded 110,000 units in the first quarter of 2026, with overseas exports passing 40,000 units, a record high for the automaker. Leapmotor delivered about 600,000 vehicles worldwide in 2025 and achieved annual profitability for the first time.
At the Beijing show, Leapmotor displayed its full lineup, including the B03X, B-series, C-series and flagship D19 and D99 models. The portfolio spans sedans, SUVs and MPVs with both pure electric and extended-range powertrains.
