Despite a 78% boost in US truck orders, Volvo apparently does not see enough evidence of a long-term change in market demand. By Will Girling
Volvo Group saw its revenue drop 9.1%, to SEK 110.8bn, as deliveries in the Americas and Asia failed to improve during Q1 2026. However, much like in his Q4 assessment, Chief Executive and President Martin Lundstedt framed this performance as “resilience” in the face of geopolitical uncertainty; indeed, this has only intensified since January.
