While technically an improvement on Q1 2025, Tesla’s dismal showing during that period makes its Q1 2026 performance look underwhelming. By Will Girling
In its Q1 2026 financial report, Tesla posted year-on-year improvements in several key areas: revenue was up 15.8% to US$22.4bn, EBIT grew 135.8% to US$941m, and deliveries rose 6.3% to slightly less than 358,000. However, considering the comparison is with one of the company’s worst quarters to date, its overall significance is questionable.
