Nissan partners with 4screen for in-car services

Nissan and 4screen will bring real-time, location-based service recommendations to Nissan vehicles across key European markets

Nissan and 4screen, a driver interaction platform company, have announced a partnership to integrate real-time, location-based services into Nissan vehicles across Europe. The first functionalities will roll out in 2026 in Germany, the UK, Italy, France and Spain, with further markets planned over time.

The system is integrated into Nissan vehicles with Google built-in and operates on an opt-in basis. Once activated, it detects contextual triggers such as low fuel or battery levels and driver fatigue indicators, then suggests relevant stops. Drivers can transition from a recommendation to navigation with a single interaction through the vehicle’s native system.

Ross Garvie, Manager of Connected Car Services Business Development at Nissan, said: “By integrating contextual information directly into the vehicle, we are enabling drivers to access relevant services and destinations in a way that fits naturally into their journey.”

Fabian Beste, Chief Executive and Co-founder of 4screen, added: “We’re excited to work with Nissan and to bring our platform into their vehicles, collaborating closely on shaping the future of meaningful driver interaction.”
