The Intra EV Pickup joins the Ace EV 1000 and Ace Pro EV as Tata Motors expands its electric commercial vehicle offer in India
Tata Motors has launched the Intra EV Pickup in India, priced from INR1.195m (US$12,855) ex-showroom, bringing an electric drivetrain to the established Intra pickup platform for cargo and logistics operators. The model expands a small commercial electric vehicle range that already includes the Ace EV 1000 and Ace Pro EV.
The vehicle uses a 72 kW motor producing 230 Nm of torque and a 28.2 kW/h, IP67-rated battery with a certified range of 211 km per charge. A CCS2 fast charger achieves a 10–80% charge in approximately 55 minutes, and the battery carries a six-year or 200,000 km warranty.

Target applications include fast-moving consumer goods, e-commerce, cold-chain and dairy distribution, with a 1,750 kg payload capacity. The vehicle is supported by more than 25,000 charging points and over 200 dedicated electric vehicle service centres nationwide, alongside the Fleet Edge telematics platform for real-time tracking and maintenance insights.
In a statement, Pinaki Haldar, Vice-President and Business Head of SCVPU at Tata Motors, said: “The all-new Intra EV Pickup has been developed with a clear focus on earning capability and everyday usability, combining one of the highest payload capacities in its segment with strong performance, long range and high uptime, all at a segment-beating price. Its comfortable, crash-tested cabin, car-like driving dynamics and thoughtfully integrated features are designed to reduce fatigue and improve productivity across long operating hours. As adoption of cleaner technologies accelerates, Tata Motors remains committed to raising industry benchmarks and making electric cargo mobility a practical, confident choice for businesses.”
