Lotus Technology has launched the For Me hyper SUV in China, the first model built on its new X-Hybrid Architecture, priced from US$73,500

Lotus Technology has launched the For Me hyper SUV in China, the first mass-produced Lotus model built on the company’s new X-Hybrid Architecture. The vehicle, known as the Eletre X in Europe, is priced at RMB508,000 (approximately US$73,500) for the standard edition and RMB558,000 (approximately US$80,750) for the special edition, with deliveries beginning 30 March 2026.

The X-Hybrid system is built around a 900V platform and a 70 kW/h battery, delivering a combined system output of 952 horsepower and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.3 seconds. Lotus says performance is maintained regardless of battery charge level, with a 3.5-second sprint retained at 10% charge. Pure electric range is rated at 420 kilometres, with a combined range exceeding 1,400 kilometres. A 2.0T engine paired with a 150 kW generator enables in-motion recharging at a rate of 25 kW/h per hour at 120 km/h.

The vehicle is equipped with Geely Afari Smart Driving H7 architecture, an Nvidia Thor chip and 30 perception units. Lotus Technology has obtained UN R171.01 certification for its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), becoming the second automaker globally to do so. Chassis hardware includes dual-chamber air suspension, continuous damping control electromagnetic shock absorbers, a 48V active stabiliser bar and Brembo six-piston calipers.

“With For Me, drivers no longer need to choose,” said Qingfeng Feng, Chief Executive of Lotus Tech. “It delivers the soul of a hypercar with the ease and confidence required for our daily life.”
