51WORLD named Nvidia’s global L4 simulation partner

Simulation software firm 51WORLD has been named as Nvidia’s global Level 4 simulation partner, with the two companies announcing a deep integration between Nvidia Omniverse NuRec and 51WORLD’s SimOne platform at the Nvidia GTC Conference. The collaboration uses neural rendering technology to make real-world collected scenario data interactive, addressing a longstanding limitation in autonomous driving development workflows.

The integration is designed to accelerate development of reasoning-based autonomous systems, including vision-language-action (VLA) models and world models, which require high volumes of varied, interactive scenario data for training. By converting static real-world data into interactive simulation environments, the combined platform expands the range of edge cases and complex scenarios available to developers working on Level 4 systems.

51WORLD holds a 53.5% share of China’s L3+ simulation market. The Nvidia partnership is intended to extend the company’s reach into global autonomous driving programmes and strengthen its position in physical AI development tooling for international automotive partners.

The announcement was made at Nvidia GTC on 16 March 2026, alongside a series of related autonomous vehicle platform partnerships involving Nvidia’s Omniverse, DRIVE Hyperion and Alpamayo technologies.
