Evolt Charging selects Ampeco to power new e.Connect+ platform

Evolt Charging, part of SWARCO Smart Charging, has selected Ampeco as the software platform underpinning its EV charging management services across the UK. The partnership will power a new iteration of Evolt’s charging management platform, e.Connect+, replacing its existing e.Connect system with expanded functionality, load management capabilities and open application programming interfaces (APIs).

Evolt manages more than 10,000 charge points across the UK on behalf of customers, serving 400,000 EV drivers and processing over three million charging sessions annually. The company says it selected Ampeco following a strategic review of its software architecture, citing the platform’s flexibility across operating models and long-term development roadmap.

The e.Connect+ platform incorporates Ampeco’s AI-based capabilities, including automated fault resolution, failed authentication analysis and session anomaly detection. Hardware-agnostic management, dynamic load management for depot and commercial environments, and multi-operator support are also included.
