BMW Alpina unveils new emblem as standalone brand

BMW Alpina has revealed a new brand emblem following its January 2026 activation as a standalone marque under BMW Group

BMW Alpina has unveiled a new brand emblem as it establishes itself as a standalone marque under BMW Group custodianship, following its brand activation in early January 2026. The redesigned badge retains the throttle body and crankshaft motifs central to the brand’s heritage while introducing modernised linework and a transparent execution intended to convey a contemporary aesthetic.

The emblem complements the previously revealed wordmark, which encircles the badge, and collectively defines the brand’s updated iconography. BMW Alpina says the reduced colouring and precise linework reflect the refined positioning the brand is now pursuing.

Vehicles will be manufactured in select BMW Group plants that have been configured to meet the brand’s production standards. This arrangement enables an extensive range of personalisation options for customers, while signature design elements including the iconic exterior colour palette and 20-spoke alloy wheel design have been carried forward.

Superior quality leather will come as standard across all BMW Alpina interiors, available in a comprehensive range of colours that can be complemented by additional material choices. The brand says its vehicles will combine high-speed performance with outstanding levels of ride comfort, with a particular focus on long-distance driving.
