Blink Charging and BetterFleet are targeting government, utilities, transit, and logistics fleets with integrated EV solutions
Blink Charging has announced a collaboration with BetterFleet, a software firm specialising in electric vehicle fleet charging management, to offer integrated planning and operational tools for fleet operators. The partnership targets government, utilities, transit, and logistics organisations transitioning to electric vehicles.
BetterFleet’s platform uses artificial intelligence and digital twin technology to model fleet vehicles, energy infrastructure, and routes. The company said this enables operators to optimise vehicle and charger selection while reducing grid interconnection requirements.
The software is designed to integrate with various EV and charging hardware, including Blink’s existing charging solutions deployed across North American fleets. BetterFleet said the platform supports live operational management, allowing operators to address incidents with minimal downtime.
Daniel Hilson, Chief Executive of BetterFleet, said: “By combining Blink’s solutions with our digital-twin planning and AI-enabled charge-management platform, we’re giving operators the confidence, data, and tools they need to scale electrification without disruption.”
Mike Battaglia, President and Chief Executive of Blink Charging, added: “These new, customer-centric capabilities take our white glove EV integration process for business to the next level, providing end-to-end support from procurement through post-installation EV fleet management.”
