Cadillac’s Elevated Velocity has been named best concept vehicle of 2026 by EyesOn Design for the second year
Cadillac’s Elevated Velocity concept has been named EyesOn Design’s Best Concept Vehicle of 2026, marking the second consecutive year the General Motors luxury brand has won the award following the Opulent Velocity concept in 2025. EyesOn Design is an organisation comprising automotive designers and educators that recognises excellence in vehicle design.
The Elevated Velocity is an electric high-performance crossover concept with a 2+2 configuration, gull-wing doors and 24-inch wheels. Cadillac said the concept adheres to its “Art of Exhilaration” philosophy and foreshadows potential design cues for future production models, with proportions carrying forward design language from the Celestiq and Lyriq.

In a statement, Dominic Najafi, Executive Director of Design for Global Cadillac, said: “The Elevated Velocity concept channels Cadillac’s V-Series legacy into a bold, electric high-performance ultra-luxury 2+2 crossover designed to exhilarate. It’s incredibly meaningful for this concept, and the team of talented designers behind it, to be honoured by our design peers.”
Bryan Nesbitt, Vice President of Global Design at GM, added: “It’s a privilege to be recognised by our design peers at the EyesOn Design awards.”
Cadillac currently offers two electric V-Series crossovers in production: the Optiq-V and Lyriq-V.
