Sources for the Wall Street Journal claim BYD is setting up a hybrid battery supply agreement with Ford, possibly for its non-US factories. By Will Girling
Ford is reportedly in talks with BYD regarding a deal that would see the Chinese company supply batteries for hybrid vehicles. Anonymous sources told the Wall Street Journal that details were still undecided, though importing the batteries to Ford factories located outside the US could be a potential option.
