The Ioniq 3 targets a 496km WLTP Long Range figure, a 0.263 drag coefficient, and a 10–80% DC charge time of 29 minutes
Hyundai Motor has introduced the Ioniq 3, a compact electric hatchback built for Europe and assembled at Hyundai Motor Türkiye’s İzmit plant. The Aero Hatch-bodied vehicle targets a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.263 and a Long Range WLTP figure of 496km, with a Standard Range variant rated at 344km.

The Ioniq 3 is based on Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) with 400-volt architecture. DC fast charging from 10% to 80% takes around 29 minutes, and AC charging is supported up to 22 kW. Battery options are 42.2 kW/h and 61 kW/h. A single front motor produces up to 107.8 kW (147 hp).
Xavier Martinet, President and Chief Executive of Hyundai Motor Europe, said: “With Ioniq 3, we are bringing the bold design, driving enjoyment, and advanced features of the Ioniq brand to a broader range of customers across Europe. Ioniq 3 also marks the debut of the Pleos Connect infotainment system, delivering sharp graphics, an intuitive user experience, and broad customisation.”

The cabin follows a “Furnished Space” approach, with a flat floor, a 441-litre boot, and an additional Megabox under-floor compartment. Pleos Connect, built on Android Automotive OS, makes its first appearance in a European Hyundai, supporting Digital Key 2, Plug & Charge, and vehicle-to-load functions.

Hyundai SmartSense driver assistance systems include Highway Driving Assist 2, Remote Smart Parking Assist, Surround View Monitor, and Blind-Spot View Monitor as standard.
