MINI takes 14-car line-up to Auto China 2026

MINI will display 14 vehicles at Auto China 2026 in Beijing, with customisation and design collaborations forming the core of its stand. Highlights include the world premiere of the MINI Countryman MINI x Vagabund, the China premiere of the electric MINI JCW x Deus “The Skeg”, and the first Chinese showing of the MINI Paul Smith Edition.

The MINI x Vagabund project, developed with the Austrian design studio, comprises two one-off vehicles based on the MINI Countryman. The cars feature redesigned wheel arches and rear side windows replaced by a bespoke high-performance sound system. One of the two will be shown in Beijing.

The electric MINI JCW x Deus “The Skeg” makes its Chinese debut with a weight-reduced, semi-transparent fibreglass body and surf-inspired accessories. The MINI Paul Smith Edition, shown at a Chinese exhibition for the first time, draws on the long-standing collaboration with the British designer, featuring exclusive exterior colours and refined detailing.

Alongside the one-offs and editions, MINI is showing market-specific models for China, current MINI family vehicles, and John Cooper Works performance variants. The line-up spans compact urban models and SUV interpretations, reflecting the full range of the brand’s portfolio.

MINI positioned the Beijing stand as a statement that customisation is a core element of the brand’s identity, presenting its vehicles as platforms for individual design and design partnerships rather than finished products alone.
