Leapmotor launches T03 LCV electric light van in Europe

Leapmotor has launched the T03 LCV, a fully electric light commercial vehicle derived from its T03 passenger car, targeting urban logistics operators across Europe. Order intake opens in April 2026 in early-launch EU markets, with first deliveries expected at dealerships in summer 2026. The vehicle carries a starting list price of €14,590 (approximately US$15,700) excluding VAT, with production finalised at the Mirafiori plant in Turin.

The T03 LCV measures 3,620mm in length and offers a cargo volume of 657 litres with a maximum payload of 220kg. It is powered by a 70kW electric motor producing 158Nm of torque, with a WLTP-certified range of 256km from a 37.3kWh battery. The battery supports AC charging at up to 6.6kW and DC fast charging at up to 45kW, enabling a 30–80% recharge in approximately 36 minutes.

The cabin features an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 4G connectivity and over-the-air update capability. Safety equipment includes front, side and curtain airbags alongside an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite covering adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection and driver drowsiness detection. The vehicle is available in three exterior colours: Caribbean Blue, Light White and Canopy Grey.
