Renault Group presents futuREady plan to supplier network

Renault Group has presented its futuREady strategic plan to suppliers at its Technocentre, outlining a procurement approach centred on competitiveness, resilience and early-stage supplier involvement in strategic component and technology development. The presentation was led by Chief Procurement Officer Anthony Plouvier alongside Chief Executive François Provost and members of the leadership team.

Under the plan’s TRUST-ready pillar, Renault Group aims to consolidate its supplier base around highest-performing partners, increase volumes with key collaborators and involve suppliers from the earliest stages of projects. More than 90% of purchases are to come from suppliers with a high ESG score, with carbon footprint reduction and use of recycled materials actively encouraged across the supply chain.

The session concluded with an awards ceremony across five categories. Google received the Customer-Focused Innovation Award for its role in integrating Google Automotive Services into Renault’s openR Link infotainment platform. Bosch won the Quality Award for its management approach across multiple simultaneous product launches. CATL received the Speed Award for delivering the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack for the Twingo E-Tech in exceptionally short timeframes. Iberdrola took the Sustainability Award for its role in decarbonising Renault Group through renewable energy supply, electrification of thermal processes and smart charging solutions. Valeo received the Special Jury Prize for contributions to cost reduction, software-defined vehicle development and time-to-market improvement.
