Ateco Automotive is recalling the petrol-powered LDV MIFA and electric LDV MIFA 9 people movers to address a problem with their steering.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the worm wheel within the Electronic Power Steering system (EPS) may have been insufficiently lubricated,” the company says in its recall notice.
“This may result in a sudden increased steering effort whilst driving.
“A sudden increase in steering effort could increase the risk of an accident-causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
