Toyota has released a teaser image showing the rear view of the 2027 Highlander electric three-row SUV
Toyota has released a teaser image of the 2027 Highlander, showing the rear view of an electric three-row SUV. The image reveals Highlander badging on the tailgate alongside what appears to be an all-wheel drive electric variant designation.
The automaker confirmed the vehicle will feature an electric powertrain and a three-row cabin but provided no technical specifications including battery capacity, range estimates or power output. Toyota has not disclosed when the vehicle will be fully revealed or enter production.
The Highlander has been a key model in Toyota’s SUV line-up, traditionally offered with petrol and hybrid powertrains. The 2027 version represents the nameplate’s transition to a fully electric powertrain architecture.
