Geely has set ambitious 2030 targets to exemplify its push for consolidated success in China and an expanded global sales base. By Will Girling
Geely’s five-year strategic blueprint for 2030, published on 22 January, outlined how the company intends to become a “pioneer” of “high-quality globalisation for Chinese enterprises” and a world leading automaker by that year. Key metrics include 6.5 million annual sales (both passenger and commercial), revenue exceeding CN¥1tr (US$143.4bn), and for sales outside China to constitute more than 33% of the Group total.
